Abstract:

Networks-on-Chip (NoC) is an effective solution to inside on-chip communication problems. In recent years, the advancement of silicon industry and also the production of Carbone Nanotube antennas (CNTs), it is possible to use wireless antennas in the network on chip. This new communication structure is called a Wireless Network on Chip (WiNoC). Using the wireless antenna in multi-core chips led to the reduction in the latency and power consumption. In spite of higher bandwidth of the WiNoCs compared to wire NoCs; their performance can decrease significantly in absence of an effective Flow control mechanism. In this paper, the Flow control problem is investigated by using a mathematical model in the WiNoC. The aim of this study is showing a correct analysis of cores behaviors with the subject to capacity constraints of links and Flow rates. The simulation results of traffic pattern in the WiNoC show that the proposed Flow rate control algorithm has been able to control and adjust the Flow injection rate of each transmitter with acceptable convergence

Abstract:

A mathematical model is described which has been developed to analyse Flow through a restructured soil during leaching with the Horizontal Leaching Technique. This new technique has been developed through field work in Turkey and Jamaica. The proposed model was based on field data compiled in Jamaica and it reveals that leaching will be much more effective in the upper more permeable horizons of the soil than it will be in the less permeable deeper layers. The model indicates that management of ponding on the surface of. the field can be achieved by controlling the rate of water application. Increasing the distance to the installed drainage system will increase the amount of salt that has to be leached and also reduce the rate of Flow through the soil to the drain.

Abstract:

Design models of multi-stage, axial Flow compressor are developed for gas turbine engines. Axial Flow compressor is one of the most important parts of gas turbine units. Therefore, its design and performance prediction are very important. One-dimensional Modeling is a simple, fast and accurate method for performance prediction of any type of compressors with different geometries. In this approach, inlet Flow conditions and compressor geometry are identified and by considering various compressor losses, velocity triangles at rotor, and stator inlets and outlets are determined, and then compressor performance characteristics are predicted.Numerous models have been developed theoretically and experimentally for estimating various types of compressor losses. In the present work, performance characteristics of the axial-Flow compressor are predicted based on one-dimensional Modeling approach. Firstly, the proposed algorithm for Modeling and then the losses model for calculation of pressure loss coefficient in the blades cascade have been represented. In this study, models of Lieblein, Koch-Smith, Aungier, Hawell are implemented to consider the compressor losses. Finally, the model results are compared with experimental data to validate the model.

Background and Aim: In patients with complete denture, some clinicians have used modelling plastic impression compound (MPIC) along tissue conditioner (TC) materials simultaneously. Little information is available on the composition of these materials and the interaction between them. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of two components of MPIC on the structure and chemical composition of TC.Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, MPIC specimens were provided in 25×2 mm discs. Specimens were randomly divided into three groups and were immersed in ethanol 70%, plasticizer (dibutyl phthalate) and a mixture of them (ethanol 70% and dibutyl phthalate). All of the discs were weighed with a digital balance before and 2, 4, 6 and 24 hours after immersion. Values were analyzed by non parametric Kruskal-Wallis (a= 0.05) and SPSS 16 for Windows (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL) was used for statistical analysis. Results: Statistical analysis indicated significant differences among all groups (p>.05).Conclusion: Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) had high impact on the solubility of MP, while the mixture of dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and ethanol demonstrated the highest impact.

Abstract:

In this paper, two types of Flows are modeled using the Isogeometric Analysis (IA) method. The first problem is to find the velocity distribution of uniform Flow in a sloped channel and the second is irrotational Flow around circular and rectangular obstacles. The formulation is derived and its differences with the finite element (FE) method are explained. In the IA method, the unknown function of the governing differential equation and the domain boundaries are approximated by NURBS (Non-uniform Rational B-Splines). Due to the ability of NURBS in constructing curves and surfaces with high precision, channels with complicated boundaries can easily be considered. The IA results are compared with the standard finite element and the accuracy is demonstrated by several examples. Furthermore, the effect of some of the IA parameters such as the irregularity of the control point grid, different knot vectors and the number of control points are also discussed.

Abstract:

Supercavitation occurs when a submerged and moving body is enveloped by a large and continuous cavity. Research on the characteristics of supercavitation have received great attention due to its substantial effect on drag reduction, as compared to the same fully wetted underwater body. In this study, numerical simulation of ventilated and natural supercavitation in an axisymmetric vehicle with cavitator is performed. In addition, simulation was performed for three-dimensional cases with various cavitator sizes. Also, the relations among cavity shape, ventilated cavitation number, and ventilation rate, for different cavitator sizes, were analyzed. Furthermore, the numerical simulation was performed on an underwater vehicle with disk cavitator at nose at various installation angles. The effect of installation angle on the supercavity formation was also studied. The multiphase mixture method was used and the Rayleigh-Plesset equation was implemented for inter-phase mass transfer. The numerical results were compared with experimental data and show equivalent natural and artifitial cavity sizes.

Abstract:

Flood is natural phenomena. That human social accept it, is inevitable. But the reason of occurrence, size, and repetition is multifactor that change condition region of climatology, natural and geographical. Obviously the reason of flood is precipitation. But studies show there is not liner relation with this factor. As such disruptive this relation in additional to geographical condition has physical properties of basin and is properties of hydrologic. The case study of this research is located northeast of Tehran. It located in the east longitude from 51o 22’ to 51o 52’ and north latitude from 35o 45to36, 50. In this research for Modeling of flood Flow of Jajrod river basin first effective indexes in flooding with use of experience past study and special traits of basin recognized that superlative indicator effective in flooding region has been characterized and proportion of each sub basin was characterized. Ultimately, with the use of multiple regression method (enter method) the flooding model of basin was produced. Required layer for evolution with use of GIS software was produced. Conclusion of research shows in physiographic properties of studied, invoices of ratio of figure, ratio of density, time concentration, basin surrounding, sum of length of river, length of first class River Modeling of flooding has maximum importance.
